This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
These stones, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
Each piece is unique.
This pendant is is a medium grey rock and a piece of Leland Blue that are both bezel set. It’s is on a silver rolo chain with a lobster clasp.
Leland Blue is slag glass from the iron smelting process. when it is swirly like this it’s called pioneer glass. It was dumped into Lake Michigan.

The chain measures approx 18 inches and the pendant is about 2 1/4 inches long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
