This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This pendant is a stack of 5 rocks of varying colors. They are drilled on the edge side, so it’s a bit more flat than round. A cairn sculpture to take with you!
It is on a rolo chain. It does not have a clasp as it is long enough to go over your head.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
I have several of this style available, and I’m working on getting them up here, but if you want to see other options, please convo me.
The chain measures approx 30 inches and the pendant is about 3 inches long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions.
