This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.

This stone, along with most of the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This necklace is one silver leaf shape and a leaf shape of Gary Green Jasper that I have cut and polished(it’s not from Lake Superior, it’s from Oregon)that’s bezel set and a medium grey bezel set rock. It has a handmade chain with a rock toggle clasp attached.
**for people who care about these things, there seems to be some debate of whether this is petrified wood or not. Either way, it’s pretty.
It measures approx 19 1/2
inches from end to toggle. The pendant is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
