This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This necklace is 3 driftwood sticks, each with a silver harness. They each have a pebble (of 3 different shades)on top. And then they are connected by a large silver ring and on a heavy rolo chain without a clasp as it is long enough to go over your head.
The chain measures approximately 32 inches. The pendant section is about 6 1/2 inches long.
The chain length can be changed if need be.
