These earrings are made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
These stones, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique
These earrings have two rocks, one on top of the other, in two colors. The top rock is light grey and the bottom rock is a dark grey. The earwires are sterling silver and handmade.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
I have several of this style available, and I’m working on getting them up here, but if you want to see other options, please convo me.
They measure about 1 7/8 inches from where they hang in your ear to the bottom of the rocks.
Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions.
